Kurt Ritchie
PresidentKurt Ritchie is the President of Indoor Comfort. He was hand-picked by longtime owner, Mike Martin, in 2013, to take his place and lead Indoor Comfort on the path of honest service and high-quality work. Kurt has succeeded in this vision and is always hands-on with whatever is needed to make sure that the name of Indoor Comfort is a guarantee for our customers.
Kurt is completely certified by North American Technician Excellence (NATE) and has a State of Michigan License in HVAC work. He has years of experience with HVAC and has a wealth of knowledge that he uses to lead Indoor Comfort to excellence.
When Kurt is away from work, he stays busy owning and managing several rental properties in Wyandotte, Michigan with his beautiful wife. Kurt’s high school age son keeps him on his toes, and they all love spending time on their boat and exploring all the incredible restaurants and venues that Detroit has to offer.
Whether Kurt is spending time with his family, or providing top of the line customer service, he is always giving his full effort and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Between the thank-you notes that Kurt personally receives and the positive customer reviews, it’s clear that he is excelling in his position.
Molly Wilson
Business ManagerMolly Wilson is the Business Manager for Indoor Comfort. She works hard to make sure everything is in place so that the technicians and customers are both happy.
Molly is the daughter of former owner Mike Martin. He hired her to work part time while she was in college, and through the years she has taken on many new responsibilities making her the financial manager and general business manager of the company.
Molly juggles her time at Indoor Comfort and her time being a mom of two young children; very often she is doing both at once. Molly lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside, and catching a yoga class whenever she has the time.
Cory Picklesimer
Installation ManagerCory Picklesimer is the Installation Manager at Indoor Comfort. He has worked for the company since 2002, and his hard work and dedication has paid off. He started as a full time maintenance technician learning about the company and equipment as he went. Since then he has become trained in everything from boiler piping to heat pump systems to generators.
Over the years, Cory’s focus changed from service to install, which lead him to his current position of Install Manager. His unique ability to envision a job from start to finish is one of the things that makes Indoor a cut above the rest in quality. Cory takes great pride in his work and it shows in every one of his jobs.
Along with Cory’s dedication to the company, he is a devoted father and partner. Living the life of a small town father Cory enjoys time with his family, going to concerts with friends, and spending time outdoors working on his house and hunting.
Cory is fully certified in installation and service for furnaces, boilers and condensers. Cory is a crucial part of the company’s success and will do everything in his power to serve our customers well.
Mike Ferrara
Sales ProfessionalMike has been working in residential HVAC for almost 30 years. He has experience within service, maintenance, sales and new installations. He is always working to stay on top of the newest technology. Mike transitioned to Indoor Comfort full time in early 2019 and plans for Indoor Comfort to be his forever job! He is the senior technician and does the majority of training for the younger technicians.
When he’s not repairing systems or selling new ones, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends on the Detroit River. He plays guitar and goes fishing every break he gets! His vast knowledge and his friendly personality make him a great leader for our team!
Sean Kessler
Install TechnicianSean is a lead Install Technician for Indoor Comfort. He joined the team in 2012. Sean was happy to join a local company and we were pleased to have such a solid technician and person join the team.
Sean is a committed father and employee and his loyalty is evident to all who know him. Sean has a quiet sense of humor but will keep you on your toes when you get to know him.
Sean works hard and is dedicated to every job. He won’t stop a job until it’s done, doesn’t cut corners and finishes the right way with a clean work area and truck every day.
Sean and his wife live in Ann Arbor with their 2 daughters. He loves spending time with his family, being outside, hunting and playing ice hockey.
Dustin Ives
Lead CoordinatorDustin Ives has been an Indoor Comfort employee since 2014. He started as a maintenance technician learning about the company and the trade as he went.
Dustin’s positive attitude, clear communication and drive for understanding the company has lead him to being the assistant manager and lead sales person. He also works in the field when a technician is off. He is a valuable team player and continues to expand his knowledge of the HVAC world from multiple angles.
When Dustin is not working, he stays very busy helping his wife to raise their twin toddler boys, baby girl and 2 dogs. He enjoys working on the house that they built and the family farm they live on.
Jimmy Gorka
Sales ProfessionalJimmy Gorka is a service, maintenance and install technician. He joined the Indoor Comfort team in 2014, but was an experienced technician prior. His range of skills from maintenance, to service, to install make him an asset to the company. His positive attitude, punctuality, and openness to new ideas is what makes him a great fit for our customer focused company.
Jimmy enjoys spending all non working hours with his lovely wife and 2 children. He enjoys baseball, from coaching his son’s team to watching the Tigers. He stays active with bowling, softball leagues, and golf games with friends and family.
Tom Conway
Maintenance and Install TechnicianTom started with indoor comfort as an assistant technician. Now he leads his own installation crew and tackles some of the most difficult jobs. Tom is a great example of the kind of employee Indoor Comfort looks for. Hard working, eager to learn, and up for the challenge of advancement.
Tom welcomed his first child, a son, in 2021 and is enjoying family life outside of work more than ever! Tom does many outdoor activities, coaches local wrestling when time allows, and works inside and outside his house. He’s a solid part of every team he’s on.
Kenny Young
Sales ProfessionalKenny joined the Indoor Comfort team after serving our country in the Marine Corps for 5 years. Before that he worked at Victory Lane and has always been mechanically inclined.
When he’s not working hard at the company, he enjoys staying physically fit and spending time in the great outdoors fishing and hunting.
Scott Lobbestael
Install TechnicianScott joined our team in 2020. He is new to the HVAC world, but not new to honest hard work. He worked for his family lawn business for years while attending college and playing baseball. He finished his baseball career and has one semester left of online classes to earn his business management degree.
His positive attitude and self motivation to learn the trade make him a valuable team member for our hard working company.
When he is not working, Scott spends time with his family and friends and enjoys the great outdoors; especially hunting and fishing.

Sales ProfessionalMindy is our first full time female technician and we are thrilled to have her on the team!
She pursued an education in HVAC after earning her bachelor of science from EMU in 2011. She’s always had technical jobs and grew up in an HVAC family.
When she’s not working hard on her career she enjoys riding horses, hunting, canning, and managing her family farm.
Vince Suchanek
Maintenance TechnicianVince changed careers from creative designer to HVAC technician and we’re thrilled he chose our company to work for! He’s an honest, hardworking individual who wanted to work in the community in a more direct way. He still designs in his off time, and he finds solving HVAC problems to be creative in its own way as well.
Vince has his bachelor degree in fine arts for industrial design. When he chose to change careers he went through WCC’s residential HVAC program. He values education and is eager to learn more as he works as a residential technician.
Vince lives with his wife, dog and cat in Ypsilanti. When he’s not working, he enjoys running, rock climbing, and hiking/ backpacking.

Install TechnicianJason has been in the trades for his whole career and recently switched his focus to full time residential HVAC. We are thrilled he has chosen to join the Indoor Comfort team!
When he’s not working hard, he enjoys camping with his 2 children and wife. He’s an amazing BBQ chef and feeds family and friends any chance he gets- especially during any sporting event- Go Tigers! Go Lions!

Assistant Install TechnicianJeff is new to HVAC after graduating from Northwestern Tech. He is excited to join Indoor Comfort where high standards and attention to detail are a must. He cares about his work and values a company that cares about the work as well.
When he’s not working, he enjoys staying active. His hobbies include bowling, golfing, hiking and traveling.
Rachel Hoskins
Administrative AssistantRachel has worked in an administrative capacity in the HVAC services industry for 4 years. Before that she was a manager for multiple Great Clip locations. Rachel is a hard worker and takes on all responsibility with a great attitude.
When Rachel’s not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Family and friends are very important to her. Rachel’s loyalty in her personal and professional life is apparent to all who know her.
Kristina Hill
Administrative AssistantKristina is our full time dispatcher at Indoor Comfort. She has worked in customer service for the past 10 years. While working she has earned 2 associate degrees in liberal arts and social work. When she’s not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, listening to music, reading and shopping.
Taylor Roberts
Administrative AssistantTaylor joined Indoor Comfort’s office team fall 2022. While she’s new to an office role she is not new to customer service and general contracting. She installed counter tops prior to taking this job and understands the technician schedule and pace of life well.
She’s an awesome addition to our Indoor team and she’s glad to be part of a growing company.
Taylor enjoys spending time with family and friends. She likes live music and dancing. She spends a lot of time camping, hiking, and being outdoors when she’s not at Indoor.
Dan Everard
Assistant Install TechnicianDan is in HVAC school full time at Ferris State University. He did a summer internship and is working whenever he can between school classes. Dan is a positive hard working young man who is eager to learn the trade.
Dan enjoys ice fishing and golf with family and friends. He enjoys Indoor Comfort and everyone on the team!
Luke Everard
Assistant Install TechnicianLuke is in HVAC school full time at Ferris State University. He did a summer internship and is working whenever he can between school classes. Luke is a positive hard working young man who is eager to learn the trade.
Luke enjoys hunting the fishing with family and friends. He enjoys Indoor Comfort and everyone on the team!
